06/14 Issue 73 "What concerns me most is..."句型
【雅思實用句型 #8】”What concerns me most is...”
Joanna 👋
(Nominal What-clause)
The lack of funding worries me most.
What-clause 版: What worries me most is the lack of funding.
What + [主詞 + 動詞] + is/are + [名詞/名詞片語]
✅ What strikes me most is the speed at which technology is advancing.
What is most + [形容詞] + is (that) + [完整子句]
✅ What is most concerning is that younger generations are increasingly disengaged from the political process.
What is most troubling about the current education system is not the lack of resources, but the unequal distribution of those resources.
Ultimately, what matters most is not whether individuals recycle, but whether governments and corporations commit to meaningful structural change.
What many people fail to consider is that technological advancement does not automatically lead to improved quality of life for all members of society.
What I find most fascinating about learning a new language is that it doesn’t just give you words — it gives you an entirely different way of seeing the world.
What made that trip to Edinburgh so unforgettable was not the castle or the cobblestone streets, but a single conversation I had with an elderly bookshop owner.
用法一:Thesis Statement(開頭論點)
What this essay will argue is that government intervention, rather than individual action, is essential to addressing climate change effectively.
(Topic Sentence)
What often goes unnoticed in this debate is the disproportionate impact on lower-income communities.
What is ultimately needed is a fundamental shift in how society values education — not as a means to an economic end, but as a lifelong pursuit of understanding.
“What I think is most important here is not just solving the immediate problem, but addressing the root cause.”
用 “What... is...”
“When it comes to learning English, what _________ is not _________ , but _________ .”
下週我們進入下一組句型,主題是讓口說聽起來更「母語感」的 Hedging Language(語氣緩衝語):“It could be argued that...” / “There is a tendency for...”
